This 2-hour course is aimed at ALL staff working with or for the benefit of adults. This might be in a primary healthcare or education setting including receptionists, counter and admin staff, and non exec and Board-level Directors.
The aim of this course is to provide awareness of adult safeguarding and confidence to report matters through identified routes. It centres upon the safeguarding areas of recognising, responding, recording, reporting and reviewing.
This course focuses on adult abuse, harm and neglect in its different forms.
In addition, you will learn about the principles of mental capacity legislation.
